In which case Stud and DT ... here's a page which features some of London's most historic pubs... all with Free Entry... (but you will have to pay for the beer)... http://www.londonforfree.net/indoors/pubs/pubs.shtml .

Those CYs from the wrong side of the cease-fire tracks and the CarpetBuggerers may be interested in very occasional Free Tours of parts of London's Victorian Sewer System ... more at... http://www.rtpi.org.uk/download/5939/Sewer-Tour.pdf

(may go on one of those sewer tours... really does look interesting... and ain't joking for once)

Right... for these yo-yo knickers... erm..... let me see.... suggest sir that you use your right to Free Expression on any Sunday morning at Speakers' Corner in Hyde Park.... erm.... suggest a lecture on promiscuous women might be suitable.

OR for the price of a pint...

Oh...yes.... where is that guide? .... here it is...

Visit one of London's many strip pubs... http://www.ignatzmice.com/forums/viewto ... 79&start=0

I haven't been for over 20 years so was wondering if anyone has any recommendations on what to do and where to stay? Tea with the Queenie? (I'll have mine with ice please.) Polo with Charles? Heard they have a good wax museum and something called the British Museum where they keep all the stolen artifacts. Any other recommendations, especially a good area or hotel to stay in???

London's fantastic there are lots of things to see and do. Don't expect it to feel 'English' though. I went up for a weekend recently and I swear it wasn't until the Sunday night that I heard someone speaking English! The hotel staff, shop assistants, waiters, bar staff....EVERYONE was non-English hehe! Makes a nice cosmopolitan atmosphere though...

My tip is go on the London Eye (you should book in advance to avoid queues). There is also a brilliant free 4D 'experience' in the London Eye visitor centre which is really worth visiting
