Perhaps the illegalities commited by Turkey in the north will at last have to face the rule of law, about time too.

BTW, I saw Cameron on TV last night deliver a mild bollocking to China, I wonder if he has the balls to do the same to Turkey.

Very good point, Jerry.

Perhaps he will beg the court to find him guilty to serve his time in the UK, than

a) returned back to the "trnc"

b) to be sent to the RoC

Talk about being in a predicament as to which one to choose.

Yes, he is between a RoC and a hard place!

Yes, and the "hard place" might be called, "Bubba"!

Good point, Kikapu. This particular case could be seen as a warning shot to the authorities in the north. For too long the pirate state has carried out its illegalities without fear or consequence. I assume there are many "estate agents", companies and developers in the UK, for example, who have been exploiting refugee-owned land in northern Cyprus, some of them fairly high-profile. The crook Gary Robb is fairly small-fry compared to some of these.

Now you mention Asil Nadir, Cameron might make another u-turn. If he does, dont be surprised, the Brit gov are gutless.

Rule of Law Deniz. There probably isn't much Cameron can do about Asil Nadir, the law, hopefully, will decide his fate. Even the ex PM's wife Cherie Booth couldn't swing it for the pink fat ones.

Agreed, they are holding back for reasons given above... and there are loads of potential targets here in GB, lawyers, estate agents, carpetbaggers. The RoC could have a field day at any time of their choosing... but yes, they'll wait to see how the talks go.

If can also remind all by stating the obvious, that these would be criminal charges... not civil matters as per the Orams matter.

When a lot of these individuals who offered to sell stolen GCs land, specially the ones in the UK are brought to court in the RoC, they will face very familiar faces who would be a witness to the prosecution. These familiar faces are no other than "undercover agents" collecting evidence while acting as potential buyers of stolen GC properties from them. The RoC must have collecting hundreds of incriminating evidence from these morally corrupted crooks in the last 7 years. As for the morally corrupted buyers of these stolen GC properties, the Orams ruling will take care of them in due course.

Going on from there K and others,... any trials against the top criminals in this affair in The Republic will need witnesses, and there is no better testimony than from a CarpetBagger who has "bought" stolen goods from these villains... wouldn't be surprised if one or two were approached to testify... in return for immunity from prosecution.

Quite, Bill.!

Maybe even the Orams themselves.

Now, wouldn't that be ironic ?
