It will be better for Greek Cypriots because we will get a significant part of our land back and it will be better for Turkish Cypriots because they will have a reocgnized and independent state which will be an EU member.

The 1974 was a disaster alright. Whatever the loss however that was 37 years ago. Lands by themselves mean nothing. They need human work and the right environment to deliver. Why do you think the Kypreos flourished within those 37 years and the Kibrislis who got the best and double lands than their population percentage are to the point of becoming extinct today?
It seems to me you have to see the consequences of official/agreed partition and recognition to realize what it means.

...enclaves provide a United Cyprus when included in its political geography, sets of territorial Jurisdictions where through National Assemblies the electorate can represent a Majority's agenda in sustaining an identity as Persons:this is Bizonal. no restriction on your movement, or association, where you live or where you work, or how you say what you say in your private life, because as Individuals there are Rights, and these Universal Principals as a State (and one People) we'll defend: this is Bicommunal.

...two levels of Government, (at least) three governing bodies; this is what we have agreed to so far.

you do not have to tear the island in two for those few that are "Greeks and Turks". they can remain satisfied, like any Cypriot, that their resistance has resulted in a Rule of Law which is Universal while they will not have their Identity as Persons dismissed.

there is no sense in any of these communities to dismiss the fact that amongst them there are atrocious murderers. this denial (regretfully, in my opinion) may never result in trial. an investment in our demonstration for Justice to be seen means the displaced from '63 and '74, Ki or Ko, at least some will return as Communities (without, i may add, disturbing the fabric of living around them); National Assemblies will be unable to act toward isolating themselves behind a "border", there will be many frontiers and their service will be provided as such in their Language first but multiligually, island-wide.

...what about a Maronite enclave(s), where they can represent themselves in a National Assembly, so that on the territory where their Jurisdiction reaches they can provide for themselves service as Maronites, and as Cypriots; recognising the reciprocal nature of their Goodwill, they provide for these needs as well.

I to support land for recognition as it is the only way we can make things work as Tcs will only unite under a structure as the AP which the the GCs reject. The complications of making a BBF acceptable to both is proving impossible and there are risks that both sides will try to exploit it to their benefit and to the detriment of the other state. The best way forward is what has worked for the last 37 years to separate states, recognition for land and we all move forward.

Look VP, help me out here, cos a simpleton like me gets a bit confused sometimes. Had you marked as a partitionist (still do), but Pyro suggests otherwise. Anyway, my confusion may be partly down to the way the English Language so often uses the same words to mean different things...

As you will know the words "state" or "states" for instance can mean something like one of the 50 States in the USA, ...or the single State of Turkey (meaning a country or nation)...

So when you say "two separate states" how close to Two Separate Countries divided by an international border are you talking?

i think if you concentrated slightly you would have understood that the link between land exchange for recognition equals two separate countries.

it's funny how the english language so often uses the same words to mean different things...

I have never hidden the fact that after the failure of the AP i started to support a clean cut solution division, I test my belief on this forum by debating with you what you support against mine and to date I am yet to be impressed to a degree to even consider anything else, you people have not yet arrived at my destination that we will never agree a BBF therefore we will never unite, therefore you to will one day like me understand that agree division is the solution option left.
