What exactly did the GCs not like about the AP?

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

In short I'm saying that the EU and the UN does not support the AP of 2004 for Cyprus in 2011. Stay in the present and we might get somewhere with a settlement based on 21st century ideals of Europe for Cyprus.

As usual you are avoiding the question, were the UN and EU trying to trick the GCs into a bad solution? Think carefully its you vs the UN and EU (plus others we wont mention ooops Greece).

A few individuals inside the EU ARE NOT THE EU. The fact is the EU as a whole has not expressed an opinion. It would have done so, after the 2 co-presidents would write a letter to the Commision asking for the Anan Plan to become primary Aquis. To do that the Anan plan should pass through the parliaments of all member states and get a yes vote.
Do you think there would be even 1 chance in a million for the Ann Plan to pass? If yes you would have proof that the EU accepted the plan.
Now answer the question: Would it get a pass, YES or NO?

NB. If you answer honestly i might bother answer your second part about the UN.

The EU (member states) supported the AP on the basis that both sides said YES at the referendum, so they would have passed it if both sides agreed.

But both sides didn't agree. So the Annan Plan became null and void. Why is that so difficult to understand?

We are trying to discuss why they GCs rejected the only opportunity they will ever have to unite under a BBF.

They rejected the Annan Plan. Not a federal solution. Don't confuse the two.

So your answer is YES, the Anan Plan would get a YES vote in the parliaments of lets say the majority of the EU member states and become primary EU Aquis. Am I correct?
