Outrages!! Turkey bans students from RoC

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

Outrages!! Turkey bans students from RoC

Postby Lit » Sat Jun 11, 2011 2:19 am

A TURKISH decree banning Turkish Cypriot students who study at schools in the government controlled areas from applying to universities there was yesterday slammed by local educationalists.

“Students who study in the south will definitely not benefit from this new ruling,” the north’s ‘education minister’ Kemal Durust said, adding: “It was already one of our aims to discourage students from going to schools in the south”.

However, head of the Turkish Cypriot teachers union (KTOS) Sener Elcil slammed the ruling as “racist and discriminatory”.

Says Pick and Choose VP, who for year has been telling us elsewhere that it's perf ok to use and recognise such things as the identity cards and passports of the Republic and to freely use its health care system etc.

... which makes it all the more outrageous to attempt to defend the Illegal Regime on this matter with another Show of Intransigence, one which is dragging the children of the Occupied Areas in to our dispute by seeking to undermine and embargo their educational opportunities when they study for exams set by external GB examination boards.

How much lower can you get?

If you have to provide benefits because of your claims thats your problem not mine, you cannot then complain why people make use of these benefits.

You dont recognize the TRNC so you apply rules regualtions to block our path at every opportunity, we also do not recognize you so why are you complaing when we apply the same regulations and rules?

It remains yet another example of the Turkish Embargoes set to hold back the Good People of the Turkish Occupied Areas and in this case it's schoolchildren who are Embargoed by Turkey and its Illegal Occupation Regime.

Disgusting.

Once again, you presume that You know My stance on such matters merely because I live in the North, Students should not be held back from Education, where ever they choose to seek it.
I do note with some Irony though that you quote, quite happily from the Cyprus snail as and when it suits your purpose, but low and behold them should they publish, anything that you deem anti RoC!!!, What a presumptive, jumped up little jerk you are.
