I thought you were opposed to the "isolation" of the T/Cs. And here you are saying Turkey is justified in trying to embargo T/C students from studying in Turkey if they obtain their qualifications in the free areas. So it's okay if Turkey isolates and embargoes the T/Cs? But if the ROC were to ban T/C students from studying in its schools, you would be the first to accuse us of racism! You sir, are a bloody hypocrite!

This is not true. The RoC RECOGNIZES & ASCCEPTS Turkish University diplomas. It does not recognize/accept those Univerity diplomas in the occupied because they have not been accredited as equivalent to EU standards. It does the same for various Universities around the world.
It also RECOGNIZES & ASCCEPTS high school diplomas of the occupied, in fact any Kibrisli high school graduate can take the exams for the Univerity of Cyprus in his NATIVE language.
This is a quote from the undergraduate prospectus that can be downloaded from here:
http://www.ucy.ac.cy/goto/puof/en-US/Pu ... glish.aspxTurkish Cypriots
Turkish Cypriots who hold a six-year high-school diploma
are eligible for admission upon satisfactorily passing special
examinations set by the University.
Students from E.U. Member States

Do you claim TCs are part of the "RoC" and reap the benefits? how can you then turn around and refuse your "people" their right to education? with that said then what the hell are you going on about, Turkey does not recognize you in your current form therefore it has the right to not recognize your students just as you do not those educated in the TRNC as you do not recognize us. That makes you the bloody hypocrite.

Your posts are just getting really strange. How is Turkey embargoing T/C students a punishment for the G/Cs?

It covers everyone who decides to educate their children in a country that is not recognized, why is that difficult to understand?
