yeah ... you recognise it when you want a RoC ID and passport.

Actually if you hold a passport or an ID of the Republic whether you like or not you do support it.

If you hand out freebies don't be surprised when people take them.....we have no supporting obligations to the "RoC" therefore we can do as we wish and not recognize your diplomas as you do not recognize ours.

May come as a pleasant surprise to GB that VP doesn't recognise GB, .... cos the students in the Free Areas at the English schools at least are often studying GB-set and marked GCSE and "A" Levels.

You didn't pay for your RoC ID Card and passport, supporting the RoC Government?

Oops, sorry, I forgot that you as a Turk are not entitled to them!

In the immortal words of the sadly missed Milti, what a plonker!

Your country is not recognized by Turkey in its current form so it is under no obligation to acknowledge or recognize your education system end of story.

This is not true. The RoC RECOGNIZES & ASCCEPTS Turkish University diplomas. It does not recognize/accept those Univerity diplomas in the occupied because they have not been accredited as equivalent to EU standards. It does the same for various Universities around the world.
It also RECOGNIZES & ASCCEPTS high school diplomas of the occupied, in fact any Kibrisli high school graduate can take the exams for the Univerity of Cyprus in his NATIVE language.

This is a quote from the undergraduate prospectus that can be downloaded from here:
http://www.ucy.ac.cy/goto/puof/en-US/Pu ... glish.aspx

Turkish Cypriots
Turkish Cypriots who hold a six-year high-school diploma
are eligible for admission upon satisfactorily passing special
examinations set by the University.

I thought you were opposed to the "isolation" of the T/Cs. And here you are saying Turkey is justified in trying to embargo T/C students from studying in Turkey if they obtain their qualifications in the free areas. So it's okay if Turkey isolates and embargoes the T/Cs? But if the ROC were to ban T/C students from studying in its schools, you would be the first to accuse us of racism! You sir, are a bloody hypocrite!
