Quattro, what I, you, halil or kurupetos want is of no interest. The point is, can you suggest a realistic way to get what you want? I understand you want the TC's to resume a role as a minority in Cyprus, like the Armenians, Maronites and Latins.

I go along with what you say Quattrocento, but Bananiots question needs to be addressed. How do we achieve what WE want.?

Is out there anyone from those alleged countrys that would accept that .Let the 5mil Turks in Germany to sagest such a thing to the Germans. Or the Cypriot's in UK . or the Greeks in Aussi........................And those are really huge countrys ........ours is just a neighborhood compere to them and everybody whats a piece of it or even all of it . Tcs don't afraid that they are losing their Identity for the 70mil or so Turks and they afraid of the 600,000 Gcs ...........come on give my a break. (not you D.)

bananiot they are a minority and that is what the TC's do not accept. You can have a functioning country with minority groups. Those minority groups can vote and be elected equally and represent their constituencies equally. Look at Australia.

  so u are offering us minority rights..... U wanting from us also give up our rights what we had at 1960 consitution..... do not forget we were equal partners at 60's..... our struggle started not to loose what 60's consitution gave us.....we did have a voting power :!: have a read old consitution again.... Federal solution will not be worse than 60's consitution....Consitution also says about Armenians, Maronites and latins and in what group they will be counted. Than not compare TC's with them.

Boys, can just say... hearing a lot about minorities and minority rights.

Is there such a thing as minority rights? If there is, then please don't confuse them with human rights, and like it says on the can... Universal Human Rights

I am all for an angelic world too, don't get me wrong. There is this small thing though: Politics is the art of the feasible and in an ideal world there would be no politics and thus no need to resort to the feasible. Quattro, I respect what you say but in the meantime the north is turkified at frighteningly fast rates. Thus, talking abstract will not save Cyprus and the Cypriots.
