Black eyed beans

Postby londoner » Thu Jun 02, 2011 3:32 pm

For those gardeners who love beans it's not too late to sow black eyed beans a traditional favourite Cypriot crop and later enjoy cooking some Cypriot dishes.

Can't beat a bowl of loovee with spinach, drenched in olive oil for healthy eating.

Fuck that!

Keep your peasant dishes to yourselves!

Big fat juicy blue (cooked for 45 seconds/each side on a hot grill) steak with lots of salt and lemon for healthy eating!

I don't particularly like black eyed beans ... And sorry Paphitis but that steak is raw. It would be perfect for a dog but I prefer mine well done ;)

Well must join with others to say a good rare steak is brill, ... but there's always a place for the old village stables of loovee and fasollia.

Spent today doing the garden, well part of it anyway, weeded about half the beds, the other half will have to wait cos have gone down with a rash that always get when gardening. Lawn is awful, more moss than grass. Pruned our fig-tree for no good reason, should get a very nice crop this year.

Oh and one other thing.... Reh Londoner... nice blog... but couldn't help but notice that you're unfortunate enough to live in a certain village, one whose name is unmentionable here in the polite company of CF.
