..............even though I am not superstitious, I still repeat this silly phrase on the first of each month! :roll:

Are there any sayings you repeat? Do you know their origins and why you say them?

When I am accosted buy a south asian saying"but vy this price?, gan you doing for me chipa?" with a head wobble, suspicion gets the better of me and I say" Sorry very much ,F8*k off we are closed".

At school it was a cheap excuse for bullying and violence:

" A pinch and a punch for the first of the month and no return...."

If you are not superstitious then why you repeat that phrase? Maybe you are superstitious?
