Nonsense!
According to EU laws, Clubs associations companies etc cannot call themselves whatever they want.
The name has to be applied then approved and then registered. Names having the word "Cyprus" "Greek" or "Turk" are generally not approved. The reason is because there are thousands of Turk teams and hence one team alone cannot monopolize the name.
Of course in the past there were countless irregularities. E.g APOEL means Athletic Football Club Of Greeks of Nicosia. If APOEL would ask permission to register TODAY i am sure it would be rejected.
Now if Lefke Turk got her name registered in RoC in the past it should be able to keep it. Otherwise it should apply for a new name.
NB. any comments on the fact that it will play at 4th division? This is less than amateur football games, no tickets, no money raised, a few villagers watching the match....I heard they were playing with Cetinkaya before this means 1st division no?
