Pres X To Take Illegal Settlers and CarpetBaggers To Court??

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

The crime was and still is committed by Turkey. It is Turkey that should be taken to whatever court you want. These people are just dumped there.iMO.

Deniz hi, do you know much about this issue? How does Turkey choose the people she chooses to "dump" in the occupied territory of Cyprus? Or is it as simple as they take people there who would otherwise be taken to gaol for petty crimes.

I will only answer once if you don't mind.

IMO there might be various reasons, but we do know the TA like to 'clear' the military ops areas.
If you ask politely, VP might give you an answer.
I do know that some Kurd got the 'GO' whilst working in the UK. Haven't seen him since.

Folowing Deniz's post a few weeks ago about the Kurd who was "emigrating" to Karpaz from the Turkey via the UK I decided to write a few letters to the my MP, the EU, MEPs, and the UK Government. With D's permission I enclosed a copy of his post. I suggested that what Turkey was doing out of step with a just resolution of the Cyprus Problem. I asked what they were doing to prevent this illegal colonisation of Cyprus by Turkey.

I received a stock letter from my MP that completely ignored my question so I wrote to him again. He replied saying that he would forward my letter to David Lidington the Minister at the Foreign Office responsible for Cyprus - so far no reply from the Minister.

Commissioner Fule (Directorate of General Enlargement) asked Michela Di Bucci to respond to my letter. Again no specific response to my question about Turkish colonisation.

Nirj Deva is the only MEP to reply so far and once again failed to respond to my question about the illegal colonisation of Cyprus.

I'm beginning to wonder if any of these politicians really care about what is going on in Cyprus. Are they hoping that the ROC will eventually give in to Turkish domination once the Turkish population of Cyprus has reached, say, one million.

If anyone is interested I'll post the replies I received here on CF, in the meantime a few more letters from Cyprus and the Diaspora could just kick their arses into gear.
