Yep... looks like Eroglu and Turkey are planning to walk away from the talks cos they know that Bonky Moon/Downer are pissed with their intransigence, lack of compromise and lack of goodwill.

Wasn't it Downer who stated to the media that the so called "trnc" will never see the light of day, and that Turkey will never be an EU member without a solution to the Cyprus Problem first?

Yes, Downer was clear when he said that Plan B/Recognition was not an option... yet despite that, looks like Erroglu and Turkey in their delusion of self-importance are gonna waste everyone's time and go for it post-Geneva.

They have been wasting our time and it seems that Downer/Moomey recognise this and will also know and expect them to play the Annan card and say that the evil GCs rejected the solution whilst we goody goody 2 shoes voted in favour of it and hence those big bad evil GCs must be punished and the innocent and pro peace TCs must be awarded with recognition!

Oh boy, aren't they going to be in for a surprise?

Well a reminder that we haven't heard from the Puppet Master Erdogan on this.

... but let's assume that Erroglu had run the reported statement passed Erdogan.

There has to be a reaction from the Republic, cos once again, and we've seen it time and time and time again for decades, "Turkey" is moving the goalposts... moving them so far that it's taking the ball and playing football in another stadium, going way outside the agreed UN Basis/Parameters, so much so that it's pissing on them and shiteing on the will of the International Community.

Pres X has to show some political nous and take advantage.
