I tried that 4-5 years ago but it was crap back then.

You should give it a try you bigot!

It was unusable a few years ago... it is truly excellent now.

Stuck it on my PC, it detected all the peripherals (including my NAS and network printer) and is FAST!

Did you know… they used to ship it out to you for free on a CD!

They must’ve been desperate to make it popular... that’s how I got mine!

Yeah, maybe I should give it another go... only thing I have to assemble yet another box for it!

I remember when unix on a PC was called Xenix!

The linux people struggled for years because it was too complex for the average user.... This new version will cover the needs of a large majority of PC users without any configuration or tweaking tho...

You don't need to make a new box either... download the ISO, burn a CD and run it from that...

I clicked on that... it said "download started" but nothing's happening!

Alright... I'm getting the ISO now.... 1.5 hours... this better be good or Pissouri will go up in flames!

1.5 hours???

It is only 650 Mbytes...

What connection do you have there - damp string or something?

I could burn you a disc and send it by Akis faster than you can download it! :D

If it can't run Silverlight then I will have to stick with windows :( Thats the problem with Linux or anything other than Windows. There is always something that you will need and will not run on them! Hopefully this will change soon. Free OS sounds good!
