He seems to like travelling as he has travelled to many places since he got elected . A chance for Karoyan to be the head of the RoC for 5 days . Anyone going to the airport for a welcome ????

President off to Oz

NICOSIA - President Christofias will pay an official visit to Australia from Thursday May 25 to Tuesday the 30th,.
He is expected to arrive in Australia on Wednesday and is scheduled to travel to the capital, Canberra, the next day, to meet the Prime Minister of Australia, the General Governor and the Chairman of the Federal House of Representatives.
After the Canberra meetings, he will fly to Adelaide for talks with South Australian Premier Mike Rann.
On Saturday May 27, the President will go to Melbourne, where Premier of Victoria Ted Baillieu will host a reception in his honor. The President will also address a gathering organised by the Cyprus Community.
On Sunday, May 28, members of the Federation of Cyprus Communities and Organisations of Australia and New Zealand will host a lunch in honour of the President and his spouse Elsi.
In the morning, Christofias will give a press conference before departing for Sydney where he will be welcomed by the Premier of the State and Archbishop Stylianos.
He will also have contacts with the Cyprus community of New South Wales

It's called relationship building, and with the kind of neighbours we have, we have no choice. Every head of state travels, its not a new thing. I would be happy for the President, whoever it is, to go places, it puts us on the map and highlights our plight with the Turks.

So, stop bashing the RoC and be more supportive, otherwise you might be mistaken for another forumer with the same Avatar. :)

I moan a lot especially when on the forum . symptom of depression ???

I hope the president put me in his lugage for his next trip to Japan.

I'm pretty certain Christofias would fly either in Business or First Class.

We have the new A380s flying to Australia now. It takes 14 hours to fly to the LA from Sydney. Europe would be the same if its non stop!

Getting a Business upgrade is also good. The best thing of all is being able to use the Alliance Airline Lounge to have a few beers, shower and grab a bight.

I'm positive that Christofias will be well looked after.

The little boy from Dikomo has done really well. His mum is very proud of him. He spends more time travelling than in Cyprus and the suckers think it is all about public relations.
