There is also an option for ‘neither agree nor disagree’ for every statement.

Choosing this response for all 30 questions results in a 55 per cent correlation with Green Party ideals, 63 per cent correlation with socialist EDEK and a surprising 67 per cent correlation with DIKO, suggesting they could be the apathetic voter’s best bet.

So the ones who don't have an opinion on anything should vote for DIKO, not really a surprise!

What were your results?

I can't get back to my results, and I am not doing the test again!

I was 57% DYSY, and all the way down to 0% for AKEL.

DISY?

This is the party I hate the most along with AKEL.

I don't mind any of the rest really.

My biggest fear is a DISY and AKEL coaltion. That would be a good time to abandon ship!

To each their own I guess.

So my results are fairly accurate. The bottom 2 are spot on, but the first four are not in correct order but that doesn't matter! Close enough....

I answered the questions honestly.

Also I am entitled to a vote, are you?

Yes you are entitled to vote.

And no, I am not entitled.

I wasn't questioning your honesty, and you are entitled to vote anyway you like just like I am entitled to an opinion.

And perhaps the diaspora should be allowed to vote, provided they are citizens. Most other countries make this mandatory, even if you are not a permanent resident.

It would be interesting if some citizens decided to file in the ECHR....

That is not the case. Voting "Χωρίς Άποψη" (no opinion) on everything gives a result of 0% for all parties.

The center answer is not "no opinion" but "neither agree, nor disagree" and this answer is purposely in the center indicating that a person does have an opinion on the issue (otherwise he would vote the "no opinion" option) but recognizes that there both pros and cons to a certain point and a decision can be taken only when the specifics of such point are examined.

If you are a citizen then you can vote. For this elections Cypriot citizens can vote from 3 cities in Greece and 2 in the UK. Cypriot citizens that live in other countries can always come to Cyprus to vote.

No you can't vote if you are a citizen living in the US or Australia. You can only vote in Euro elections.

During Euro elections, there is a polling station at the Cyprus Consulate in Canberra. Citizens do not automatically have the right to vote in Parliamentary or General Elections. You can't get a voting card unless you live in Cyprus. If you are a student studying in Australia, then the rules change again.

Here, if you are a citizen and register to vote but move overseas, you are obligated to send a postal vote, or attend an Australian Embassy and cast your ballot. It is mandatory. If you don't, then potentially you will be fined. And if you don't pay the fines, they turn into into warrants for your arrest (upon your return) where you will be bailed to appear in court and then pay an even bigger fine.
