Headed for a federation or division?

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

Funny how sick idiots continue to say the same nonsense 7 years after the referendum.

You were predicting that we the "trnc" would be recognized or become another "Taiwan" if we dared to reject the Annan partition plan. It didn't happen.

You were saying that we would soon regret that we didn't vote for the Annan plan. It didn't happen. On the contrary, the only major party who supported that plan (DISY), realized its mistake and changed its tune about the Annan plan in order to regain the lost votes, while the smaller party which supported the Annan plan (EDI) disappeared, since more than half of its supporters abandoned that party after their decision to support the Annan plan, and those who were left were not enough to give to the party a seat in the parliament.

Now you continue saying more nonsense that we will supposedly "perish" because we didn't vote for your racist plan. No my friend, today 2/3rds of Cyprus continue to be free and Turkey and the settlers can do nothing to make us perish.

On the contrary if we had voted for the Annan plan, the Settlers not only would not stop coming to Cyprus (who would stop them? The TC leadership, who are the puppets of Turkey and who would control the northern coast) but they would be free to roam the whole island and 10s of thousands of them would even be given the Cypriot citizenship! Even worst, the whole Cyprus would become a puppet state of Turkey as the "trnc" is today, since no important decision would be possible without the agreement of the puppets of Turkey.

A solution means the liberation of the north part of our island from the foreign invaders, not the enslavement of the whole island, with a "solution" that will not allow the Cypriot people to democratically rule their own island.

Just because the liberation of the north part of Cyprus is not possible today, this doesn't mean we should also enslave the remaining 2/3rds. The Cypriot people rejected the Annan plan because it was a bad plan that it is worst than even from the bad status quo, not because we were expecting some "European Solution".

I always thought Bananiot was a school teacher living in the free areas, no? :!:
