Here's a proper joke mate >>> Not my future fileh, there are days here in London when already feel surrounded by a million Turks, but what's worse is being swamped by 300,000 CYs, and we all know how noisy and argumentative they can be.

But enough of the banter, let's get back to Halil, who doubtless is a very nice chappy, and his views, and to make it less personal, let's ask what the CYs living under the Turkish Occupation, the sort who have taken to the streets in past weeks; what are they are offering the other man to get him to vote yes... cos all am hearing from them so far is loadsa love and cuddles, loadsa sing-a-longs but nothing of any substance.

Keep asking the question Bill Cobbett. That is the right question.

Besides, Cypriots must keep in mind the bigger picture. The deal they strike in Cyprus will in the end be adopted by majority Turks and minority Kurds in Turkey. We best make it a good one.

Keep asking the question:

tCypriot, what are you gonna give to make me vote YES to any plan?

I like the attitude Bana, don't blame the rapist, blame the victim, she asked for it, huh??

Don't condemn Turkey for shipping in the gypsies, blame the GC for it for now bowing to Turkeys demands. Have you no shame???

What are the TCs going to do for the GCs to get them to agree a deal?????

That's OK, provided no TCs are left by that time.

Thursday talks

NICOSIA The leaders of the two communities in Cyprus, President Christofias and Turkish Cypriot leader Dervis Eroglu, meet on Thursday in the framework of the UN-led direct negotiations for a solution of the Cyprus problem.

The meeting will take place at the residence of the UN Secretary General's Special Representative in Cyprus Liza Buttenheim, in the UN-protected area of Nicosia Airport, in the presence of the UN Secretary General's Special Adviser on Cyprus Alexander Downer.

During their previous meeting on May 5, the leaders of the two communities reached an agreement on guidelines on international treaties binding on a united Cyprus.
