You are the shaker, go shake your mates.

And what will you do in the meantime, B25? Spout more abuse at those who think that the Turkish Cypriots have a right to live in peace and dignity? Since you did not attempt to rebut my observation, I have to conclude that you are simply a Turkish Cypriot-hating nihlist. It's folk like you who IMHO have done more to kill any hope of reconciliation between the communities than any politician.

surely that's a question for ur mates, not cypriots free from turkey's clutches. wot will convince them?

'course if life's still too cushy for them in the latrine, that they're still not ready to join the real world, u could argue the solution is to squeeze harder, make life even more difficult, so the improvements are plain. turkey's helping too, bless her.

Well, my attitudes toward Turkey itself has hardened. Turkey's interests and not the Turkish Cypriots' interests are their priority. As for the south, I'm still not getting answered the one question that I've been asking since 2005: What will it take to convince the Turkish Cypriot people (and their supporters like myself) that life in a reunified Cyrpus would be any real improvement compared with life in the TRNC? I'm talking about economically, culturally, and politically.

Well if life in the "trnc" is the benchmark then why don't you tell us. Economically dependent on turkey, culturally changing to mainland turkey and politically run by the Turkish ambassador.

I have a different issue. What can convince us, a hard working service led economy of bankers, lawyers and accountants that we should take on a troublesome community of hibernating civil servants?
