Assuming of course the forum will survive, which I really doubt. The CY problem seems to be entering a totally new phase where the REAL Kibrislis will soon be replaced by settlers. Hence there won't be any Kibrislis to discuss with on the first place

As if we have been discussing with Kibrislis all this time. Who are we kidding?

I agree. They are just puppets. The puppeteer is Ankara and the Turkish army.

On 8 June 1949, the “Halkin Sesi” newspaper of the Turkish
minority reported that the British Acting Governor R.E.
Turnbull issued a circular, instructing the replacement of
the term “Muslims of Cyprus” (the term used by the British
Administration till then), with the term “Turkish Cypriots”.

yialousa, what you imply is that the British divided us, and in a counter intuitive way made us Cypriots; before, we were to the subjugators mere dwellers of an island, not Cypriots.

...lol!

who taught 90% of the world to speak English; America or England?

...to the Ottomans, we were not Turkish; the British didn't teach us Greek either, although under them we became Greek Cypriots.

I find it funny how "Christian," "Muslim," and "Linobambaki" became "Greek" and "Turkish."
