So as long as there is an apology is OK? what if it keeps happening in the south which by all reports it has been doing but as not come to the attention of the media.

... erm VP... you know as well as everyone else that almost all visits to the Free Areas by the CYs living under the Turkish Occupation pass without incident... thousands of crossings every day. Shouldn't we have agreed to draw a line under this after Pres X's apology.

Are you aware of the any of the incidents reported to police?

So you support that an apology is enough?

Erm sorry guys, but am I looking at this this too simplistically?, What message does it send to the Tourists aboard the coaches, or can we afford to make tourists feel uneasy and not want to return(Which ever side they stay and spend their money!!).

Reh VP... think it's enough to say that Pres X has condemned the incident, has expressed regrets to your Muhktar and that we recognise that it's only one out of hundreds of thousands of happy and peaceful encounters between CYs in the years since the crossing points opened.

Reh Ttoli... tourists to CY are of the price-conscious end of the market... whether they choose to stay in the Free Areas or in the Stolen Hotels of the Occupied Areas or elsewhere... price mate... it's the only thing that concerns.

"tourists to CY are of the price-conscious end of the market...", that may well be your experience of the Chavs and Slappers that Ayia Slappa et el attracts, but the Island attracts the well heeled too.

You are not answering my question are you aware of the incidents TCs suffer on daily basis and those reported to the police who do nothing? This is just one incident that has made the press, its very good of your commi leader but if there is no desire or action to apply the law and make these bastards pay then it means nothing.

Go ask the GC police, although you may not get the truth.
