Cypriot Forum as opposed to Cyprus Forum; two differing meanings. :?

very good suggestion for admin to consider for the revamp!

I'm pleased to report the cypriot government is making strides to counter this surreptitious cultural imperialism. See below (shame about the name of the website though)....

www.cyprus.embassyhomepage.com

A warm welcome to the Cypriot website, where you can obtain information about the Cypriot Embassy in London, other Cypriot embassies worldwide, Cypriot visa requirements, visa application forms for Cyprus, tourist information, weather, maps of Cyprus, public holidays in Cyprus, telephone area codes and much more travel information about Cyprus can be found here.

The Cypriot Embassy in London is the official representative body of the Cypriot Government in the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. The Cypriot Embassy in London and other Cypriot consulates in United Kingdom...

Where would that leave our CBBB, Bubbles and Webbo not forgetting Princess Figgy. They are members of the Cyprus Forum but how do they become Cypriot Forumers?

wot prevents them contributing to a 'cypriot forum' as opposed to a 'cyprus forum'?

the adjective refers to things cypriot, not exclusively people.

'Cypriot Forum' suggests 'a forum for the sole use of Cypriots'.

I'm having a double Scotland on the rocks while I wait for my bird to finish her France pedicure.
We're going to the Britain museum and them off for some cocktails.
In the morning we're having France toast, England muffins and Switzerland roll.

and the fact u (and not just u) can't see it, is sad. cypriots have let (connived with, i'd say) imperialists erode their sense of self. and it's all over the internet.

To be honest Zoc... think the word cypriot is ugly, it sounds ugly, it has a hard t ending... it just ain't a pleasant sounding word.

It's a clumsy word... ithas 3 syllables in 7 letters. it just ain't nice.

and it rhymes with idiot.

...and Bananiot.

remind me never to come and see u or dt perform chatista...

Forget chatista. The Turkish habits are over. We're going back to our Hellenic roots.

Loosing my rag? Never!! I would have filled in the missing letters and you would still find a way to misconstrue it. It must be Charloui fing to call people names. Of course, if one has no respect for themselves how can they respect others.

My attempts to make a useful contribution to this thread (pointless as someone has noted) was a waste of time.
