I will quite happily fly with a company that should correcty be called Cypriot Airways (well not happily, unless the cabin staff improve their attitude)
However to be really semantic let's go for Cyprus' Museum or Cyprus' Airways - a simple " ' " makes it work (after a fashion)
Then what about Singapore Airlines? Should it change to Singaporian Airlines?
And what about QANTAS which stands for Queensland and Northern Territory Air Service? Maybe that whould change to Queenslander and Northern Territorian Air Service aswell!
First of all I would like to apologise for being late, the dog ate my homework and I had to do it again.
Where to start?
OK, QANTAS, our descendant of a convict is incorrect with his explanation of this acronym, it is well known that it stands for Queers And Nymphomaniacs Travelling After Sex.
Now for the Charlie. You should be more respectful to the flag of your Queen, for whether you consider yourself Britain or Cyprus, you are a member of a Commonwealth country (as is the convict), so she is your Queen and her flag should be accorded respect.
If I think of anything else I will come back later.
We have our own Flag and our own Crown quite separate to Britain as a Sovereign nation.
As for the Queers and Convicts, well I let u dwell on it for now. I can only say, that for those dregs of society, the outcasts, and the scum who were sent out to the Penal Colonies have done pretty well for themselves when compared to the upper class, and sophisticated Britons of present day Britain.
We owe you our gratitude for sending us your down and outs!
And even though I am an Australian Republican, we still owe you our gratitude for arguably one of the best systems of Governance in the world. A system which has given us 110 years of stability and prosperity, in one of the fairest democracies going around.
