There was no serious point anyway, because our language is Greek and not English.

don't be so parochial. the lingua franca of the western world is english. and the use of language helps shape minds. it's in the cypriot people's interests to be clear about how they and their stuff are presented to the outside world....

Maybe you have a point afterall. That's why Greek Cypriots should be renamed Hellene Cypriots. :wink:

That's right.

The majority are Greek::Greek majority.
Not "the majority are Greece"::Greece majority.

The North is Turkish::Turkish North.
Not "the north is Turkey"::Turkey North.

The culture is Cypriot::Cypriot culture.
Not "the culture is Cyprus::Cyprus culture.

Time for the simpletons to stop "beating a dead horse."

no, the majority are Kypreos who speak Greek, and there is minority who are Kibrislis who speak Turkish, or is Filitsa an Enosis/Takist partionst, by describing the North as Turkishm when it should be an indivisble part of the Republic of Cyprus ?

I otherwise agree with ZoC's last remark.
