Piroi is on the Larnaca road between Aglangia and Koshi on the way to Larnaca.

Pre-invasion you could get to Larnaca from Nicosia in 20 minutes down this road.

I'd rather they didn't open this route as it will mean loads more traffic going past my house!

Thanks CBBB... a heads up... they are putting lights in at the "T" down there, and very shortly things will get even noisier cos Larnaca Avenue is very soon turning in to 4 lanes... and you're right it is already very noisy already during the rush hours.

Yes ... it's a worry... guess we'll have to suck it and see.

Ah, the famous words of Linda Lovelace!

You mean Monica Lewinsky!

She was wondering how fast an intern can get a promotion so she made the famous thought...

At least Clinton splashed out on a new dress for her! :)

Bogger off reh!

If someone's been daft enough to sign an agreement with Turkey which partly depends on a transfer insofar as is possible by the tnucland authorities in the Free Areas, then lodge it at the ECHR and then withdraw the claim against Turkey, may well be rightly be called an idiot.

You may not like it mate but the Republic is aslo perfectly entitled to work towards what it sees as the National Interest.

... and don't think for one moment by the way that I was anything other than very distressed by your cheapskate, very un-CY suggestion that would only get klethtiko scraps for dinner... blooming klethtee.

Refer you to the International Law of the Sea, which limits Turkey's EEZ to midpoints between CY and Turkey in the waters to the north of CY.. unless Turkey is claiming that CY is an uninhabited rock.

To which some will say, and would agree, that Turkey is not a signatory to this Treaty. To which will say it doesn't matter, it ain't relevant, it matters not one iota whether Turkey signs this law or not, for two reasons...

Firstly, given Turkey's lack of respect for anything it signs, Turkey's signature on anything ain't worth the ink it's signed with.

... and secondly, the treaty is signed by 160 other countries, practically every single member state of the UN, so it has the effect of being International Law... whether Turkey likes it or not.
