Refer you to the International Law of the Sea, which limits Turkey's EEZ to midpoints between CY and Turkey in the waters to the north of CY.. unless Turkey is claiming that CY is an uninhabited rock.
To which some will say, and would agree, that Turkey is not a signatory to this Treaty. To which will say it doesn't matter, it ain't relevant, it matters not one iota whether Turkey signs this law or not, for two reasons...
Firstly, given Turkey's lack of respect for anything it signs, Turkey's signature on anything ain't worth the ink it's signed with.
... and secondly, the treaty is signed by 160 other countries, practically every single member state of the UN, so it has the effect of being International Law... whether Turkey likes it or not.
