has anyone heard of or used this expression?

my old man used to use it, back in the day, to signify, i seem to recall, something done in a rush or slap-dash.

wot does it mean? where does it come from?

Pata Küta! As in the phrase "Pata küta girişdi genne, gırdı ağzını burnunu pezzeengin!"

Hope Deniz translate it to English... :lol:

... but lemme try... He/she attacked to him/her with a clattering noise!

So, it doesn't sound like a slapdash-ak thingy! :lol:

With you around who needs me. You got it right first time.
Basicly, doing something with a lot of noise. Perhaps even with the aid of a stick (as in Pataklamak=beating).
I think we used to say, 'pata küt getirdiler genni'. They brought him here by the scruff of his neck(with extra excouragement). :lol:

A bit of persuation, if I may add. It also has the meaning of something done very fast, summary proceedure ...
