not sure it is..... but, in any event - however irrational it may seem in our 21st century secular society - supernatural belief has clearly had genetic advantages. perhaps an ability to 'suspend disbelief' (so to speak) provides a buffer against the trials and tribulations of life... (eg. loss, grief, dealing with disaster, fear of death). this would prevent depression and other mental health illnesses, which would have an adverse affect on gene survival....

btw... these tcs seem quite angry...

Yes... those CYs suffering under the Turkish Occupation do seem to be very unhappy.

Perhaps they should get religion.

Right. Thats what the invaders are doing. Converting your churches while building new mosques............you are asking for trouble

they're ur churches too, deniz.

indeed, thank-you ZoC, these relics whether you believe in God or not are our roots, as Humanity, if we rise above being "Greeks" and "Turks", as Cypriots even more tolerant with a Unitery State to defend our Individual Rights, and National Assemblies for the Communities to act as Majorities in sustaining their self representation as Persons, with reciprocal respect and recognition of their respective Minorities, as equals, providing for their needs as well, these monuments as living things would thrive (again).
