shame subtitles aren't in english. i wonder if vp wouldn't mind translating, particularly after about 12 minutes, 'cos the folk seem quite animated about something.

If anyone from this tiny socialist group had shouted slogans such as "EU out of Cyprus!", "EOKA is fascist!" or a similar socialist rhetoric against the ineterests of any political group of GCs or Greeks; I'm sure "you" would all laugh at them and never care...

But hey! anything that serves your interests must be used as a propaganda tool... just for nothing of course... as usual...

They must have been GCs pretending to be TCs.

i thought the hundreds of gcs dressed up as police, pretending to be guarding the turkish embassy, were really believable. one of them woz my cousin. he got paid 50 euros and got to keep the uniform!

Gosh.... my impressions were that there are an awful lot of very angry people about... angry with the regime and angry with Turkey.

Two or three times the regime was referred to as "puppets", and the "parliament" referred to as a "pseudo-parliament".

On at least one occasion the "state" was referred to as a pseudo-state.
