I think an 'unconditional' amnesty for all those that were banned should come into effect immediately. The 'Actus Riotus' should be read and signed and let us carry on, business as usual. The problem though is how to entice the 'banned' back.

Secondly because the Cyprus problem itself is not a discussable issue anymore, in the sense that it is perfectly clear already that the solution will not come from negotiations, but from unpredictable developments over time.

Now I hear the CF has banned members, is planning changes and rules and all that nonsense.

I believe CF goes through stages, some better than others, gently evolving - well it certainly has done ovre the last 5 years or so. As one Chapter closes, another is opened. It's true we have lost some of our leading lights - but others will join us, others are emerging.

It's true that all that there is to say about Cyprob to be said, has been said - in most cases many times over.

But CF continues to inform, to entertain - and at times enrage! its a good place to be and changes (for the better) are afoot.
