CF fading into obscurity....

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

I think it's about time I depart as well.

A few of the 'extinct' members you mention were/are interesting to some of us, others were/are not.

Some accused of trolling were actually the ones being trolled by a small nucleus of 'Top Guns' if they are going extinct, is'nt it because like the dinosaur they have had their day?

It was obvious that newbies were not left alone by the top guns, this stopped the forums growth.

Anyway looking forward to the changes, this can be a good intectual forum and I actually read more than I participated before. I do miss the really good forumers that have gone, but not the rest.

Change is good, I,ve watched a old building being gutted near me recently, I was worried that it would be replaced with etched glass and metal frontage, I should,nt have worried, it has been sympathetically restored and looks wonderful, the old clientele and many new ones now enter it's doors most nights and enjoy what they obviously ALL enjoy the most.

I believe CF goes through stages, some better than others, gently evolving - well it certainly has done ovre the last 5 years or so. As one Chapter closes, another is opened. It's true we have lost some of our leading lights - but others will join us, others are emerging.

It's true that all that there is to say about Cyprob to be said, has been said - in most cases many times over.

But CF continues to inform, to entertain - and at times enrage! its a good place to be and changes (for the better) are afoot.

I think an 'unconditional' amnesty for all those that were banned should come into effect immediately. The 'Actus Riotus' should be read and signed and let us carry on, business as usual. The problem though is how to entice the 'banned' back. :?
