Hi Figgy

Where is GR when we need/want him?

There are lots of free progs out there - I suggest down load a few and see which one you like.

Format factory is the fastest and the one that supports conversion between almost all formats... I pmed u the link to download it Figgy... this is the portable version... no installation and c***k needed... just right click on the rar file after u downloaded and choose extract here... then get into the extracted folder by double clicking on it... double click on format factory exe and start using it...

This is the program I use for converting video: http://handbrake.fr/ But it might be a bit complicated for a newbie. Format factory seems easier.

Why convert people??
Why? why? why?
It's a damn good format. Crystal clear and better than AVI.

It's common sense people.
Unless you're planning to use stand alone DVD players, it makes absolutely no sense.

Sotos. why convert?

it is darn hard to find Arabic movies online to download, i found this site which is amazing but all the movies on it is mp4 files, now i normally download movies to my memory stick and watch it on my DVD but when i load up mp4 files the DVD doesn't read it so i have to convert them to avi or any file that DVD`s read which is basically anything that works with media player without needing an extension
