Pyro where did i state you had no losses of course you did, all i was trying to clarify was that we made our choice on the side of Turkey in 1974 after 11 long years of being at logger heads with you guys, which resulted in losses for both GCs and TCs.

I wouldnt say inferiority complex but trust yes 100%, we have no reason to trust you or take a leap of faith that would effectively place our future and lives in the majorities hands that being the GCs, would you place your future in the hands of the Turks?

I have to refresh your memory that TCs and GCs existed on this island together and peacefully for 4 centuries before the 11 years you chose to account.

Why are you saying you sided with Turkey in 1974? The truth is in 1974 you just succeded in your taksim cause.For the majority of TCs it was the reward for their "sacrifices". Turkey however did not invade for your taksim idea, she invaded for her own reasons. She used you and continues to use you and you know that very well. And because you are causing her troubles she will replace you with settlers very soon unless ou wake up.

If
a)my ancestors were an 18% minority in Turkey living peacefully there for centuries, and they had 11 (?) year troubles and fighting with them, that costed my community a death toll of less than the death toll of road accidents, and
b)if Turkey was an EU country with an ESTABLISHED RECORD of human rights and respect to all it’s inhabitants as equal citizens, and
c)if it’s standard of living was highly above the average in the EU, and if
d)by looking around in Turkey I would see that there are so many people of unknown ethnicity without anyone caring and if
e)my standard of living was not even one 3rd of that of that of the free Turks and if
f)My own existence was threatened because Greece was trying to replace me with settlers and eat my own country like "lahana"

Then YES I WOULD PLACE MY FATE WITH THE TURKS NO QUESTIONS ASKED NO CONTITIONS SET, NO ANYTHING.

(Replace Turkey with RoC, Turks with GCs etc)

Is there anything from the above a-f that is NOT true regarding the GCs/Tcs Viewpoint?

But it was these 11 years where we had the chance to rule ourselves not prior, obviously we were fine living together as long as someone else was in charge. 37 years have passed we no longer know each other, the south to me personally is like a foreign country OK to visit but I would not choose to live there.

Patato Potato means the same thing thank god Turkey stepped in when she did as we TCs felt hard dome by, on the brink of a dangerous situation, threatened alone and afraid for our lives. For whatever reason she arrived we will always be grateful.

As for replacing us with settlers we have come to accept the alternative to living as a minority in a GC state which we do not want and would imo be far worse.
