Not all are of Turkish origin. It is a high probability that those who thought themselves of 'pure' Turkish origin had emigrated back to Turkey in 1878 or after Lausanne 1923. It is impossible for the majority of the remaining TCs to be of 'pure' Turkish ancestry - its even impossible in Turkey too. Just use common sense fcs.

To be factual, I know some of my relatives became Greek Orthodox. Before that I have no hard evidence.

To make life easy for you young BillC, perhaps you would like to use the Turkish name of our village. Its phonetic and short. AKSU.

We made our choice in 1974. Now if you have anything better to offer we can talk otherwise you and I both are wasting our time. Thats why the current talks are going nowhere.

In this fighting innocent people sufferred too, i still remember drank GC people losing their way and entering Kionelli, never to be seen again alive.True because the TCs were less in numbers suffered the most. But don't try to sell the story that GCs had no losses.
And where were you in 1974 when almost half of us were homeless? Exporting our furniture and home equipment to Turkey?

How on earth do you prevail among the TCs by mastering the sentimental fears of the past that are completely outdated and unrepeatable even if the GCs wanted to, is beyond my comprehension abilities.

You sometimes give me the impression you have an inferiority complex in the sense you don't trust your own abilities. You think the GC are some sort of super natural beings that will make you their servants.
Hell we are not, the average GC is as the picture posted by yorgozlu, the best word to describe them is "halted brains", in Greek I call them "stamatimenoi".

In this forum there are many clever guys, but the point is they are not average GCs Again look at the picture above maybe you can understand better.
