"Trnc" is a reality.

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

Strange that YOU would ask this question when you support the "trnc". A "trnc" can happen only with the ethnic cleansing of GCs from the north part of Cyprus. If the ethnic cleansing of GCs from their homes doesn't bother you then why would it be any different for TCs? Are you racist?

Don't you have anything better to fill your life with? Is life in Arkansas so dull for you?

Actually, it isn't all that dull. My wife has released her book, I'm working in a great job, and I'm catching up on old interests. I am a little bit surprised that certain folk on this forum still seem to regard me as a threat after my being off for so long. Why else would they level verbal abuse at me instead of replying direct to my questions? My stance on TRNC has not changed and thus far, there has still been no firm reasoning from folk on this forum as to why I should change my view. Forum folk need to know that attacking a person rather than that person's views is actually a sign of weakness...

With this post you have actually revealed the REAL purpose of your messing around in fora that don't concern you.

Sorry you will not get it from me. Bye

Perhaps you should ask to have this forum restricted to Cypriots, if my view on this issue is such anathma to you. I wonder though it you'd find me equally unwelcome here if I espoused your views on Cyprus...

Sotos, it was racism on both sides that caused the problem in the first place. If such prejudices that caused the split in 1963 still exist, you think that abruptly bringing back together both parties will extinguish the racist attitudes of both sides? Probably not. Various posts on this forum seem to bear this out. Still, if you have an idea for how reconciliation between the TC's and GC's can work in Cyprus, I'd be glad to hear it. It's just that I honestly believe that the gulf between the communities cannot be bridged and that a seperation of Cyprus into two countries - no matter how unsatisfactory this solution is - is the only way to keep the peace. You may call that racism, but to my mind it is nothing more than pragmatism.

BTW, I am sorry if this view offends you, but what else is there?

Who said I find you unwelcome??? I simply said you are not going to get what you are looking for from me. In case you aspired my views you wouldn't get it anyway, because I wouldn't qualify. btw I said bye, don't bother me again

What if TCs move to Turkey? We would again be separate and there will be peace. Why don't you support this? If it is OK to ethnically cleanse GCs then it should also be OK to ethnically cleanse TCs to get the same result. Don't you think? Or are you racist? And you are also probably a troll ;)

So you favor the "Crete" solution. In other words, you want a Cyprus that is almost completely homogenously Greek. Not exactly fair to those Turkish Cypriots who have lived in Cyprus for the last couple of hundred years, is it?
