Like you am just happy to share my two bob worth and see my Country freed from an unwanted invador and her troops.
I don't think so... but i hope so... even there hasn't been your "invador" and her troops in Cyprus, there would have been the "invador" TC troops "occupying" "your" country as long as "your" community insisted on a majoritarian democracy... Would it be fair for 80% Cypriots to force 20% of Cypriots to accept majoritarian democracy instead of giving a chance to a fairer political stucture called consociational democracy?
Had the case been 50/50 or 45/55(on population basis) your "invador" and her troops would have been pure TCs... Had it been the case what would u wish for Turcophone Cypriots?
Believe it or not, those that don't want Turkey in Cyprus among Turcophone Cypriots is 1/1000 of all TC population... Most of them are socialist who r almost against everything capitalist...
I too don't want some Turks here in Cyprus but not because they r Turks or "invadors"... I don't want the bad apples...
Under the current ongoing circumstances Grekophone Cypriots have around 15.000 NG and some 60.000 reservists...
In the Incompetent vs incompetent situation, TCs should find a way to stop their Grecophone brothers using brute force to achieve a majoritarian regime in Cyprus... and they forunded the way by getting reinforcements from Turkey...
I'm not happy with this situation... I can understand your pain of being away from your ancestral lands and properties... not being allowed to return and enjoy full freedom in your country...
... but when u examine the events, u can easily see the chain reaction of cause and effect relation...
Now u try walking in my shoes...
