"Trnc" is a reality.

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

It's all fine(you think)to go and see your kids once a week(example),take them out to mc donalds, shopping, parks, spending a weekend with you.......etc.Then at the end of the day return them back to mothers/ex wife's house and return back home with a big grin in your face, being pleased with yourself for being able/allowed to spend some time with your kids.

Keep kidding yourselves.Has ony of you ever even thought of asking how those 'kids' think/feel?How much they are longing to see their parents united, back toghether under one roof........like it used to be??

My 2 went and bought a recordable alarm clock and recorded,'wakey wakey daddy, rise and shine'!!!

welcome to Cyprus.

huh? :?

Read it again and this time replace the words of 'kids' as us and 'parents as 'Cyprus'.

What do you think now?

I thought that was it, but then you got a little personal and figured you may have confused the forum with a divorcee support group

Viewpoint,

If you compare like for like your will discover your "prize" is worse than the enclaves.
a)You do not own the land you reside in
b)You are not independent
c)You have to share it with 2-3 times more settlers
d)You did not get much more security than what you had in the enclaves.
e)You have to do whatever another master says.

Furthermore the "prize" has not delivered any bonus to you so far, and it is very unlikely that will ever do. On the contrary it has deprived you of huge cumulative incomes-just compare how the GCs have double to triple incomes than you.
In other words you pay every day for the "prize".

Now you expect to get something better than the "prize" in a solution? You will never get it. All you will get is better prospects for a a better future. Because there is a real PRICE to get a solution:
a)You return the biggest assest of the prize which are the GC properties
b)You do not get fully independent, you will have the GCs to account to.

So chose.

And one more thing.
The GCs were never promised something better with a solution. In fact each and every president repeats to us that we will have to make painful sacrifices.
a)economic sacrifices -at least for 10 years in favor of the TC const.state
b)Lose the full control of the RoC-"b" above will be applicable to the GCs too.

For us the Gcs the choice is clear. We will go ahead.

But, we will not be begging you... we have better things to do like raising money

Pyro i can have what you offer tomorrow but i still choose the TRNC even with all its perfections, you GCs are so materialistic you think everyone is like you well we are not. Plus i comparemyself with GCs in the south and I cannot see that they have a better standard of living than the average TC who sends his children to private school lives in his own house has 2 cars and 2 holidays a year, you can keep you helicopter if that is what you are referring that is just excess and extravagence which is not a must to have a great life.

You must see me as an equal partner as i do you if i have an airport you should have one as well or if you have a state to administer then why do you deny me mine?

CASE OPEN:
Could someone define this reality and whatever goes with it?
VP, you perhaps?

Personally i like this reality- at least we (G/cs) know who is the enemy.!!
