Something fishy about bill c.'s motives, methinks ....

He doesn't like the truth!

Am a simple man... and like Grump says above, it's often the simplest explanations in Science that turn out to be correct ..... :P ......... :D

It's only simple once it's been done and explained. So go on, then; explain 'Quantum Entanglement' :D

Bill is busy, so I will have a go.

Quantum entanglement is a property of the state of a quantum mechanical system containing two or more degrees of freedom, whereby the degrees of freedom that make up the system are linked in such a way that the quantum state of any of them cannot be adequately described independently of the others, even if the individual degrees of freedom belong to different objects and are spatially separated. Peculiar nonclassical correlations can be observed in such systems. Entanglement can be measured, transformed, purified, and teleported. A quantum system in an entangled state can be used as a quantum information channel to perform tasks that are impossible for classical systems, and is also required to achieve the exponential speedup of quantum computation.

Can't we disentangle the Quantums?

Oh Gawd... quantum entanglement is absolutely remarkable, it's soooooo remarkably counter intuitive..... and so counter common sense ... and soooooo counter classical physics ...... but have to go out to a bbq ..... so maybe later ......... :P ..........

... Oh,....... and it's been proven experimentally, will try and look up the experiment ...... later.
