I liked the Spitfires and the Lancaster (?).

Definately the best bit! :D

One was a Hurricane!

I thought it was 2 Spitfires. Anyway, I like Hurricanes as well, but the Spitfire was awesome.

Nothing like hearing those big Rolls-Royce Merlins!

Has the couple had their big pash yet?

No cake but the poor will help in footing the vast bill for the happy occasion

The Queen will have a piece on the poor! :D

I bet she will be thinking of her poor subjects as well!

Agreed. You could tell what was coming just by the engine roar! My old man flew Halifax bombers in WW2 and Liberators in an Aussie sqn.

Yes, people love the Royals no matter their persuasion (which should not be an issue anyway)

Aside - EJ looked bloated and he did not know the words to the songs either. He obvioulsy did not write the lyrics

Paul Keating loved the Royals!

He knew how to treat them! 8)

The Monarch's days are numbered in this country....

Was that when Keating patted the Royal arse or something similar?

Oh, and his wife shook hands with Queen Elizabeth but did not curtsy.

He was known as the "Lizard of Oz".

I liked Paul Keating because he was said it as it was. Good PM overall!

Certainly not!

He instigated the Republican Movement and John Howard held the referendum. The Republicans would've won if they did not fight over the model. Half wanted the President to be elected whilst other Republicans wanted the President to be ceremonial and apolitical...

What RAAF Squadron did your old man fly for?
