They don't hand out citizenship just like that.
You will be investigated but you wont be aware of it at the time, they will keep track of you long term to make sure its a proper marriage and not one of convenience.

If you can not find a girl then try a guy . You know that gay marriages are legal in Europe and If it is just only on paper then you would NOT have to worry much .....You will not see him anyway. : 8)

Not bollocks, they do check, I've been through it. However, how thorough they are depends on where you come from and your ethnicity, if you know what I mean.
