How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

VP, why are you allowing yourself into meaningless arguments by talking about "what might happen" at some distant (?) future. Some idiots in this forum do not realise that the same TRNC will continue to exist with increasing trade and possible recognition as it has done over the past 39 years! TRNC has nothing to gain joining a bankrupt Southern part! If it was put to a voting today (Annan or another similar plan), great majority of TRNC residents would refuse an agreement anyway!

Being dickheads has landed the South in the mess they are now - a form of rejects in EU! In fact, EU are ever so sorry they bothered to include Cyprus in their union. So much so that they are now looking for an excuse to throw them out. Before they do so, they want to punish them by taking away as much as they can of the Russian black market money! Do not think the 10% will end the problem... Next they will be asking Cyprus Banks to prove the legitimacy of the billions of dollars Russians have in their (EU) accounts!

Do not worry about the TCs - they've been there and survived, can the GCs do the same? I doubt it very much. This is a good chance for a solution to be found for the Cyprus problem because for the first time in many decades, the Greek Cypriots are having to negotiate with a state that is far stronger economically and financially. If they get rid of ELAM and Eoka-B idiots from their backyards, TCs might just about agree to live under one Republic with two federal states. AND they better hurry up. EU may then overlook the crisis in favour of aiding a new Republic. Otherwise this is just the start of the end for our GC countrymen - the majority of whom I dearly feel sorry for, because they were/are not the ones who wanted our island divided. Get rid of the minorty vermin is what I say - and the TCs will be prepared to live in peace with you...

There is no such thing as the "trnc" The whole world knows it. Due to the financial situation in Cyprus, News across the world refer to the occupied territories as the Turkish occupied territories. Perhaps "TOT" would be more correct...
