the archbishop's easter message...

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

the archbishop's easter message...

Painful and constant concessions on our part have not been acknowledged or reciprocated by Turkey.

... The occupation forces are constantly shifting their goals, and today it is more than apparent what their final objective is. It is not a confederation, nor partition, nor a two-state solution, but rather the total Turkification of our island and the casting out of our people.

... The ghastly face of the occupation grows ever more heinous.

... We must not waver from the principles of the European Union and the United Nations. Only thus shall we be genuine children of the Resurrection.

good will and peace to all humanity...

Turkish media was bizarrely reporting that Greek Cypriot National Guardsmen (NG) were ‘amassing along the border” and ‘getting ready for war'.

 Turks are becoming quite hysterical these days.
