Formula 1 to end in Turkey....

Lack of interest, financial troubles axe future of Formula 1 in Turkey

In recent years, it has been rumored that Turkey’s rights to host Formula 1 Grand Prix races may be terminated after this year’s races. The speculation unofficially turned out to be true when İstanbul Chamber of Commerce (İTO) head Murat Yalçıntaş tweeted, “It looks like the Formula One race will not be held in İstanbul next year,” on Thursday. The future of the races is believed to be in peril due to a disagreement between the races’ Turkish officials and Formula 1 boss Bernie Ecclestone over payments for the race.

BadaBing, Cy is too small for F1, so it couldn't do it if it wanted to.

As for Greece, cannot comment.

While Monaco and Singapore are very significant  Greece organized the Olympics. Only significant countries organize the Olympics, Turkey is not one of them ;)

Fantastic news.
The Formula 1 should've been banned from Anatolia in the first place.
Sanction the terrorist bastards.

My guess is, Eroglu will be sent to give out one of the 4 trophies on the winners podium in two weeks time, Turkey's last F1, just as Talat did few years back. This would be done to piss-off the GCs in the hope for them to walk out of the present talks. Nothing else has worked so far, so expect to see Eroglu up there presenting one of the trophies. I wouldn't be at all surprised if the RoC hasn't already informed the F1 about this possibility, and should Eroglu does try to present one of the trophies, for the F1 to instruct the drivers and the winning team leader to refuse accepting the award from Eroglu.
