Later tonight and again tomorrow night we may be in for a little treat.
The Earth will be passing through the dust left over from the trail of Comet Thatcher and we'll be able to see around 20 shooting stars a minute in two or three hours time.
Very, very light and patchy cloud here in London at the mo.
Look over to the East to see the show, so if you're in CY look over in the direction of Famagusta...
If you're in North London look in the direction of Essex. If you're in South London...tough.
No need for binos or telescopes... the naked eye is sufficient.
Sorry can i correct ... it should be 20 an hour... we'd prob become extinct if it were 20 a minute....
