After 400 years my roots being in Cyprus, that's where my roots belong. It is obvious you have no roots and want to cling onto the Ottoman roots, in which case, why stop in Turkey and not go as far as Mongolia. Do the Americans and the Australians see themselves as English.? Why don't you tell the next American that he is English after his ancestors sailed to the "New Country" on the Mayflower in 1620 and see what their reactions would be.!

It doesn't. Many of them are trying to escape to Europe, and most of the rest are used to live with very bad standards of living. Are you willing to live in Cyprus with the standards of living of the average Turk? I doubt. And since TCs can have RoC passports and move to any EU country way easier than Turks can, then it is obvious that most of them will choose to do this when Turkey will stop subsidizing the TCs for having higher standards of living than her own citizens.

Have you been to Turkey to see how people live? if no then you dont know what the hell you are talking about. My relatives there live a better life style than you can ever imagine.

3 years and no result...this could on for another 20 and still there would be nothing. Only way a plan can be produced is according to a time table otherwise its more of the same...which is no solution.

sure I am.Having alot of difficulty to find Cypriot amongs them though.

After 37 years of division and the a fast population growth we will all become new generation Turkish Cypriots, so however hard you look thats what youll find.

You have not answered the question. Do the Americans of English heritage call themselves English today.? The answer is a BIG FUCKING NO. If you want to be called by where your ancestors came from, then the correct label to use for you would be Mongolian and not a Turk.
