need some info, and I would appreciate any pointers and advice...

Coming to Cyprus soon for a long stay, and I need to buy a car, but don't want to spend more than a thousand.

Any types of car, areas, dealers etc that I could get a good reliable little car for under a grand?
I heard a rumour about Ford being quite cheap now.

good and reliable for under 1000 pounds? dudy paid also? I don't think you can find one, sorry For under 1000 you can find a car like 10 year old Mazda 323 or something like that.

Car prices are falling, you'll find something half decent for a grand, but stick to Japanese cars and look in Larnaca and Limassol, cars seem much cheaper there.
