Carpet bagger arrested

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

How can anyone overlook details covering a 250% interest rate on a loan from a bank and then make the above statement as Bora has.?

Just for my curiosity, what is the maximum rate of interest a bank can charge on any kind of a loan.?

I realise that it was obviously difficult for you to read the whole article using your English to Mongol dictionary, but this paragraph from the article refers to the insterest rate charged.

Bora will also attempt to sue Akfinans for charging what he believes were extortionate rates of interest on the loan to the Kulaksiz developers. He will do this despite the fact that currently there are no laws in the north limiting the amount of interest that can be charged on a bank loan. In this particular case, Bora says Akfinans charged a rate of 250 per cent, which, when Kulaksiz defaulted, gave the bank the “right” to seize nine houses on the Kulaksiz plot in the village of Vasilli.

OK?

The courts have the last say to whas amounts are to be repaid, which includes the interest.

If there are no laws as to how high an interest rate a loan-shark, sorry, a bank can make an agreement with an accomplice as a client in collusion to steal the homes from the Carpetbaggers built on stolen GC land in a development with the full blessing of the trnc, how on earth can the corrupted courts in the north do anything about it, even if they wanted to be on the side of the morally corrupted Carpetbaggers.? If there are no laws as to how high an interest rate can be charged, then there cannot be any "laws" to deny the banks on what ever they charge in order to screw the Carpetbaggers.

Just to be fair on the Carpetbaggers however, the trnc should at least supply them with a large jars of Vaseline free of charge. They did after all guaranteed that these Carpetbaggers which the homes they bought on stolen GC land would be protected from losing them.

You're right. The "trnc" should give all the Carpetbaggers 2 large jars of Vaseline each free of charge, instead of just one.

Good advice from a carpet-bagger ,

"Having moved from Paphos District to TRNC 6 years ago - I just wish we'd stayed put! I know the most elderly couple at 'Kulaksiz 5' - knew them for 25 years in Paphos - you can only imagine how they rue the day they ever set foot here.

You can't have any idea what awaits you!

You state your age as 69 - if you fall ill in TRNC - then what? Can you afford to?

Do you intend to rent, or buy?

Our biggest mistake was to buy property - we should have rented until we found out what TRNC is 'all about'.

If you do come, I hope you enjoy the Immigration procedure/annual rigmarole!"

Well surprise ,surpise ,

That's when the "Dark Side" becomes a shining beam of light illuminating EU medical care!
