What do Greece’s financial woes have to do with the CyProb?

You’ve been a member here for many years yet you still don’t seem to understand why there’s a thread directory structure and how it works!

So to have Cyprus like Crete without foreign invaders and without a Cyprus Problem, in exchange with a temporary financial crisis? I will take that any day!

Very true!

Much better to have a financial crisis, which can be dealt with over time, than to have foreign invaders on our soil and our island divided.

Our problems in Cyprus are far worse than any financial or social woes that Greece is experiencing right now!

Poor misguided fool,still dreaming of a solution based on ethnic cleaning and Greek fanatical nationalism...Dream on...When you wake up it will be too late...Come to think of it,it already is...Better make plans to go and live in Greece...You can have your temporary financial crisis and no foreign invaders,just like Crete...

yes indeed. He was not "attacked" - that is a gross sensationalist exaggeration. His speech was interrupted by left-wing anti-fascists protesting his infamous views on Africans being less intelligent than white folk:

The co-discoverer of the structure of DNA, 83, was menaced by protesters yesterday in Greece, while giving a lecture at Patras University. A group of 20 protesters shouting "Racist!" burst into the lecture theatre, and a young man - wearing a hood, naturally - approached Watson brandishing a flag.

Lecturers and students from the audience prevented the protestors from reaching Watson, who was not injured. The audience booed their exit.

Watson, in Greece to deliver a lecture entitled "Discovering the Double Helix of DNA", caused a worldwide furore in 2007 when he told British newspaper The Sunday Times that he was "inherently gloomy about the prospect of Africa" because "all our social policies are based on the fact that their intelligence is the same as ours, whereas all the testing says not really".

That article halil posted makes it sound like crazy Greek anarchists were targeting anyone and everyone, and Watson happened to be targeted.
