Cyprus is a Greek island. So either you are foreigner or you are a traitor. Which one is it?

I am a Turkish Cypriot,but a Cypriot first...My motherland is not a Greek island...It has never been a Greek island...It will NEVER be a Greek island...Get used to it,or go and live on a Greek island,there are plenty to chose from.Some are more beautiful than Cyprus...You will be very happy ...Leave Cyprus to Cypriots...You were once a traitor willing to gift Cyprus to Greece,now you must be a foreigner if you think Cyprus is a Greek island... :twisted:

We are the real Cypriots. You are the foreigner. When my ancestors 500 years ago were living in Cyprus, yours were living in Anatolia. And when my ancestors 2000 years ago were living in Cyprus yours were living in Mongolia. And when my ancestors 3000 years ago were living in Cyprus creating civilization yours were still monkeys ;) :lol:

What does "imish" mean?

I don't speak this language! What is it? Swahili or something! :roll:

It is actually Turkish! Meaning 'so they say'! Or as GR used it it would mean 'Education,my arse!' :lol:

Sort of 'allegedly'. Nice to know you know the Turkish language that well Bir. Pity these Greeks...ooops, Cypriots havent a clue what language they speak. :wink:

Yes... there's def a tone of "allegedly" in this word, which pronounce as imishee.

It is a 'gem' of a word. I have seen it mention on cf a few times but could not see its meaning out of context. I find that cf can be a font of knowledge. (and hatred) :lol:

So let me get this straight.
Anybody and I mean ANYBODY born and raised on this island does not acquire Cypriot nationality.
The Cypriot nationality does not exist, is this what you're telling me?
German + GC = German Greek.
Pontians = Russians.
Armenian + GC = Armenian Greek
TC = T**k
Swedish + TC = Swedish T**k
British + British = British

EVEN if the product of these marriages is born and raised on this island??
So who the fu** qualifies as a Cypriot?

There is a Cypriot Nationality Cap!

There will always be a Cypriot Nationality! Don't fall victim to all this bullshit! There is a Cypriot Nationality.

Please familiarise yourself with Nationality Vs Ethnos/Ethnicity

The propagandists will obscure their meaning to suit their own ends.

Those would be called Greeks apparently.
'Greeks of Cyprus'

I'm still looking for an original Cypriot. If it exists.
