How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

37 years on life-support is a long time by any standards. Sometimes you have to accept that the patient just isn't going to wake up...

Life support is much preferred to what the GCs offer death.

VP take a drive down town Lefkosia on the occupied side. I think the locals who are Turkish speaking Cypriots have rallied three times in as many months stating that they are sick and tired of living under a fascist regime. Some of them are even greatful they have a RoC ID card and that it is also printed in Turkish as a show of respect for the dum arse Turks who cannot accept that Cyprus is neither Greek or Turkish.

You are referring to the minority the majority were protesting against the economic reforms which is going to effect their pockets, this hardly warrants jubilation you appear to be displaying. Even if this were the case GCs are to stupid to understand reciprocate or benefit from such action by TCs.

So after 37 years the patient wakes up from its coma, it doesn't like what it sees and demands it be put straight back onto life-support!

Isn't it simpler just to put the poor bastard out of its misery?
