yes this what they call surreal, though Dali was actually formally thrown of out of the surrielist movement in the 1930's.

I think some of the imigary in surrialism can in fact be traced back to the 16th Century and the work of Bosch - see the bottom picture of the items I posted after the Dali.
No nudity in this one but it is probably the best known of his paintings,
